Committee Members

The Committee responsible for considering planning issues within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is the National Park Development Management Committee.

Officers of the Authority prepare monthly reports on planning applications and other planning related matters.  At the meeting the Committee consider these reports and any recommendations made by officers, they listen to any third party who has registered to speak on a planning application, and they discuss each item before making a decision on it.

Development Management Committee

The Committee is made up of all 18 members of the National Park Authority.

Twelve of the members are elected County Councillors, the other six are nominated by the First Minister for Wales.

Committee Meetings

Meetings are held once a month, usually (but not always) on the third Wednesday. A list of the forthcoming meetings can be found by visiting Committees within the What We Do section of this website.

The meetings are held in the Committee Room at our offices in Llanion Park and are open to the public and press.  Members of the public can address the Committee on planning applications that are to be considered by the Committee but must register to do so a minimum of two working days before the meeting.
