The National Park Authority administers Sustainable Development Fund grants in Pembrokeshire. To read summary details of the projects supported by the fund, choose a project title from the list below.

At Home in the Park

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority (PCNPA) will use SDF funding to produce a series of 6 short (1.5 – 2 minute) promotional online DVDs to be screened on the 'My Park' section of the PCNPA website and also offered to online TV stations. The DVDs will promote small-scale building development, sustainable design, renewable energy installation, best practice in land-use planning and building conservation in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park (PCNP).The DVD is intended for local Pembrokeshire residents and online audiences to the PCNPA website in 2009. Filming will incorporate the different stages of development work, and revisit the site to film as frequently as necessary in order to highlight the challenges, benefits and opportunities of the building project. The episodes forming the series would be linked together by a voice-over and provide the opportunity for a range of key messages to be incorporated into each episode. One of the advantages of producing a series of short on line DVDs is the ability to use the series as a way of engaging with website audiences in a format that is already familiar to them through ‘reality TV’. It also provides an opportunity to draw audiences in to the website as repeat visitors returning to catch the next episode of the series. It would also be intended to reach wider audiences through the broadcasting media and the Authority's own sites. In addition 250 standard dvds will be produced for distribution to stakeholders by more traditional means e.g. distribution at events and display at PCNPA tourist information centres.

Project Total Cost: £6,000.00
