Pembrokeshire Coast shortlisted for award

The Pembrokeshire Coast has been shortlisted for the BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards 2018 in the Holiday Destination of the Year category.

Judge Miranda Krestovnikoff said: “Wildlife, wildlife, wildlife. Plus stunning coastline, incredible birdlife, beautiful beaches that aren’t as busy as they are in Cornwall - it’s just wall to wall wonder.”

BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards 2018

The other four finalists in the category are Forest of Bowland, Isle of Wight, Suffolk and Speyside.

Other Welsh finalists include Snowdonia National Park, Bodnant Garden, Castell Dinas Bran and Newborough Beach.

Voting for the BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards 2018 closes on 5 March.
