Picture your favourite beach or walk, or the places you go in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park to have fun or just to relax. And then imagine they weren’t there any more or just weren’t as special. At the National Park Authority we’re trying to make sure that what’s special in the Park now stays special in the future.
The Authority is here to protect the National Park landscape and to help people to get out and enjoy it. However the Pembrokeshire Coast faces many challenges and the National Park Authority is only one organisation of many working to address the issues.
Use this section of the website to find out about the National Park Authority’s efforts to conserve this spectacular landscape - through our work on the coast and inland areas, in building conservation, planning, agriculture, forestry and sustainable development. You can also learn about the vast array of resident and visiting wildlife in the National Park. Some of the biggest hurdles will only be overcome if we can mobilise our biggest asset – people like you. So we’ve got lots of ideas for ways you can enjoy the Park whilst looking after it too!
Don’t forget we’re also on Facebook, Youtube, Flickr and Twitter! Sound like a different language? Then click on the links and find out more. Join up, become a fan, download some pictures or videos of the National Park. Just get involved!
