Welcome to this year's selection of Activities and Events hosted by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority. We have a variety of exciting activities where you can explore the National Park and appreciate its wildlife, landscape, history and culture. Our programme tries to offer something for everyone so use the search facility to find something to suit you.

Saundersfoot: From Coal to Sandcastles

Starting at 10:00 28 June and finishing at 12:00 28 June

Explore evidence of past industry and why the sea has been so important to the area on this 3.5 mile gentle paced walk. Meet at the Harbourmaster’s Office to learn about the origins of this beautiful seaside resort once famous for its coal. Follow the route of the original tram tracks from the harbour towards one of the many mines of the area; climb the Incline and marvel at the tunnels built for the railway which carried coal and the miners to work. Easy walking with beautiful views, featuring stories about local characters and legends.

🚶 Easy - For anyone of a reasonable fitness level who doesn't have a mobility difficulty. Suitable for pushchairs if they can be lifted over occasional obstructions. Comfortable shoes or trainers can be worn. Paths are clearly identifiable on the ground.
