There are also a number of ongoing activities and events that take place at Oriel y Parc, including the St Davids Memory Café, which is usually held on the first Wednesday of the month.

Talk in Aid of Shalom House –Exploring some of those who have been airbrushed from Art History.Ruth Barker is a retired GP from Brighton. She entered medicine late having been a history graduate from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She taught history in an East End comprehensive school for 10 years and then retrained at Charing Cross Hospital, always planning to become a GP. In retirement she is developing craft skills and delving into Art History.
