A Walk through Time: On the edge of Pilgrimage

6 July 10:00am - 4:00pm

A Walk through Time: A series of Guided Archaeological Walks

Walk and delve into the distant past with our Community Archaeologist, as he reveals clues that shed light on the way of life of the ancient inhabitants of North Pembrokeshire.

On the edge of Pilgrimage

During the Medieval period it is said that two visits to St Davids was equivalent to one pilgrimage to Rome. This in itself indicates how important a place like St Davids must have been during the Middle Ages. During this walk, you will visit some of the key sites of significance and gain an appreciation of how important this area was for those medieval pilgrims.

£8 per person. (Includes entry to the Bishop’s Palace)
