Contact us and register your details to get the latest updates on what's happening in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
During the 19th and early 20th centuries this beautiful stretch of coast was busy with thriving industries producing slates, bricks and road-stone. Explore this unique industrial past on a guided walk along the coast path and learn more about the fascinating heritage of the area and how industry has impacted this beautiful landscape. After exploring Porthgain, participants can return to Abereiddi with our guide, or can take the opportunity to stay in Porthgain and find their own way back along the coast path. Approximately a 3-mile circular walk. Meet in the car park at Abereiddi; car park charges may apply or catch the Strumble Shuttle bus.
