James Fells is an illustrator and landscape painter who grew up in North Pembrokeshire and now lives in Fishguard. As well as being an artist he also builds and repairs boats and as a result spends a lot of time on or around the water’s edge. Marine creatures have always held a fascination for him due to their quirkiness and prove to be very good subjects to try and capture in his art. James moves freely from different styles and as a…

One of Tom’s greatest passions alongside painting has been our British Coastline and its wildlife, and in particular Pembrokeshire has always been close to his heart. By painting in a fresh and modern approach to the medium of watercolour, he is able to present a really cohesive, impactful and engaging exhibition.

A continuation of a previous project – Shadow self - drawing on Philip’s experience as a Probation Officer and Heather’s work as a Psychotherapist, these artists have assembled a series of twenty-one polar opposites that capture the transactional ebb and flow of our lives and the conflicts that engulf us. Both Heather and Philip are successful landscape photographers, but with broad interests in literature, psychotherapy and issues of faith, and in an abiding preoccupation in how our lives are played…
