The woods at Lawrenny Quay are special, consisting of old and gnarled oaks, stilted by the salt-borne winds. We follow the Daugleddau River upstream to Garron Pill where we take the tarmac road to Lawrenny Village. We then pass the old Lawrenny Castle site on our return to the car park.

Starting at Canaston Woods car park, this walk is wheelchair and pushchair friendly, although there are gentle slopes on some stretches. We would advise someone who is ‘self-propelling’ a wheelchair to bring some support until you know you are able to do it yourself. The walk is not strenuous if taken at a relaxed pace.

From Minwear Woods car park this walk takes in beautiful glimpses and viewing points of the Eastern Cleddau and part of the walk follows the Landsker Borderland Trail.
This walk does not have stiles, but does have some steps, and the woodland paths can be muddy in places, which makes it unsuitable to anyone experiencing moderate or advanced mobility difficulties.

This walk will run from Wild Lakes Wales (what3words location: builds.enveloped.towns) following Cott Lane to Blackpool Mill. There are some potholes on the route, but these should not be an issue for anyone with a scooter or an all-terrain wheelchair. This route takes in the views of the Preselis and cuts through old Forestry Commission land before joining with the Knights Way at the southerly point of the wood at Blackpool Mill.
