The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Local Development Plan was adopted by the National Park Authority on 29 September 2010. The Local Development Plan is operative on its adoption.
The Plan comprises text and maps, and together with national planning policy will guide decisions on planning applications.
The Local Development Plan was produced in accordance with the Delivery Agreement approved by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority in January 2007 and agreed by the Welsh Government in February 2007.
The Local Development Plan has been subject to a Sustainability Appraisal and Habitats Regulations Assessment.
The extent to which policies of the Local Development Plan are being successfully implemented is reported via the Annual Monitoring Report.

The Authority undertakes an annual Housing Land Availability Study, which calculates the amount of land available for residential development within the National Park. A minimum five years supply should be maintained. The Joint Housing Land Availability Study Report provides the latest figures for the Authority.
