The National Park Authority undertakes an annual Housing Land Availability Study, which calculates the amount of land available for residential development within the National Park. A minimum five years supply should be maintained. The Joint Housing Land Availability Study Report provides the latest figures for the Authority.
Land Implementation Study March 2012
Hyder Consulting was commissioned by the National Park Authority to prepare a Land Implementation Study to research the costs of requirements to developing sites allocated for residential and mixed development in the Local Development Plan.
The study focusses on the key physical infrastructure improvements required to bring each of the sites forward for development and includes landowner intentions for the sites. Information has been provided on development trajectories for each site.
