The global climate is warming: glaciers are melting and sea levels are rising. The CHERISH project is a team of archaeologists, geographers and geologists studying the effects of climate change on coastal and maritime heritage in Wales and Ireland. The exhibition showcases work at local sites such as the promontory fort at Caerfai and ancient farming settlements on Pembrokeshire’s remote islands. CHERISH is a European Funded Ireland-Wales project led by the Royal Commission.

An exhibition of watercolour paintings and limited edition prints of the birds from the coast and land of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.  Meg holds a strong connection to Pembrokeshire’s coastline and the surrounding diverse landscapes and many of her memories involve the birds of Pembrokeshire. In Land/Sea Mike Perry focuses our attention on the growing environmental crisis at home. This powerful exhibition of landscape photography challenges conventional ways of seeing our coastline and countryside, and opens our eyes to society’s broken relationship with the natural world. Perry’s work sparks conversation about how to restore healthy ecosystems and bring back a wilder landscape. Land/Sea is presented by National Museum Wales, and is based on the touring exhibition originally curated by David Drake, Director of Ffotogallery, and…
