Short Walks

LITTLE HAVEN INLAND

DISTANCE: 1.6 miles (2.6 km).
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Service bus Broad Haven 311, *Puffin Shuttle 400 (*seasonal, hail & ride).
CHARACTER: Fields and livestock, quiet country lane, some road walking.

Leave the car park by the pedestrian exit past the public toilets.  Turn right on to road, walk past bistro and shop, bear left, then immediately right into Wesley Road.

At end of road, cross stone stile and continue straight ahead along field edge, keeping hedge on left. Aim for stile in the top right corner of the last field.  Cross stile and stream, continue straight ahead, aiming for waymark post at top of slope, and turn left at the top.

Keeping brambles on left, aim for second telephone post from left at far end of field, staying roughly on the same level.

When visible, aim for kissing gate, pass through, and turn right on to lane.  When lane turns right, carry on straight ahead to ‘Woodlands’, staying on tarmac lane until reaching a footpath sign at Woodvale Bungalow.

Turn right, follow path and just before metal field gate turn right over stile and follow meandering path down the hill.

After crossing bridge and gate, turn right and at crossing turn right back into village.
