Filming in the National Park

If you want to film in the National Park, please read our Filming Enquiries Guide before contacting us as this could answer many of your questions. If you are intending to use a drone please read our guidance for drone users.

You can film on public land which includes public highways. However if you would like to film on private land, you need to ask the permission of the landowner.

Ordnance Survey maps also show the ownership of land by the National Trust with symbols in the middle of areas marked with a purple boundary.
