Step back in time and exchange your vows in the historic setting of Carew Castle

Imagine yourself surrounded by centuries of history as you say ‘I do’ at one of the most iconic landmarks within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Carew Castle has been uninhabited since the late 17th century and is often referred to as ‘the romantic ruin’ having been painted by the famous landscape painter, traveller, and poet, JMW Turner.

In 2022 Carew Castle became licenced for civil ceremonies and hosted its first Wedding since records began!

There are several rooms available for civil ceremonies, as well as breath-taking and atmospheric outdoor areas with views across the Millpond to the Tidal Mill. We can accommodate indoor weddings for up to 100 guests and for larger weddings we can also offer outdoor ceremonies.

Following your ceremony, capture memories that will last a lifetime with photographs taken among the Castle’s magnificent mix of Medieval, Tudor and Elizabethan architecture.

To help you celebrate with your loved ones, Nest Tearoom can provide drinks and canapes or grazing platters for your guests in the Castle Courtyard or Walled Garden following the ceremony.

With its stunning architecture, beautiful scenic views and rich history, Carew Castle is the perfect place to make your wedding dreams come true.
