Reconstructed iron age roundhouse with a thatched roof pictured under a starry sky. Location pictured is Castell Henllys Iron Age Village, Pembrokeshire

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is one of the best places to enjoy the tranquillity and starry skies, but have you ever wondered what our ancestors might have thought of the night sky glistening with stars?
As we celebrate the Welsh Dark Sky Week, gather around the warmth of the fire in a roundhouse at Castell Henllys and listen to storyteller Alice Courvoisier as she explores various constellations and enlightens us with tales, myths and legends from different cultural traditions. Weather permitting, there will be an opportunity to admire the night sky and identify some of the constellations after the storytelling session.
Please dress warmly. Bring a torch and binoculars. Age 7+. Children (7-16) must be supervised by an adult. Booking essential. £8 per person.
