Drawn to the Sound by Fishguard Arts Society
From the rhythmic pulse of the Atlantic tide to the sharp cry of a cliffside bird, the Pembrokeshire Coast is a landscape that demands to be heard as much as seen. In this unique collaboration, the Fishguard Arts Society presents a multi-sensory exploration of our National Park.
Each work on display is a direct response to a bespoke soundscape composed specifically for this collection. The artists have moved beyond mere observation, translating melody into texture and rhythm into colour. By weaving together music, writing and visual art, this exhibition celebrates the deep interconnectivity of our environment. They invite you to engage with these works while listening to the sounds that inspired them, discovering a new, harmonious vision of the coast where the auditory and the visual meet.
Drawn to the Sound can be seen in the St Davids Room and Discovery Room from Friday 2 October until Sunday 8 November 2026
