Crafts: 10.30am – 2.30pm
Join storyteller Michael Harvey and local artist Kate Evans for an inspiring, hands-on creative workshop rooted in Welsh myth and environmental action. Children will hear the Journey of the Legends story inspired by Twrch Trywth, the magical boar from the Mabinogion, woven together with St David’s message: Gwnewch y pethau bychain / Do the little things. Through this tale, Twrch Trywth becomes a symbol of climate change and rising sea levels, encouraging young audiences to think about how we respond to environmental challenges. After the storytelling, children will work with Kate to create their own artwork connected to the story.
Show off your masterpiece at the St David’s Day Parade at Oriel y Parc on Saturday 28 February, when Journey of the Legends story will be brought to life!
