Birds of Pembrokeshire by Meg Phillips

10/09/2023 9:30am - 5:00pm
|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 9:30am, repeating until 02/10/2023

An exhibition of watercolour paintings and limited edition prints of the birds from the coast and land of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.  Meg holds a strong connection to Pembrokeshire’s coastline and the surrounding diverse landscapes and many of her memories involve the birds of Pembrokeshire. Birds can evoke nostalgia and connect us to places; from the gannets diving into St Bride’s Bay, red kites soaring above moorland or the guillemots and razorbills nesting on Ramsey Island; birds are synonymous with the National Park. This collection of watercolour paintings captures the beauty and intricate details of these amazing birds that we so rarely get to see up close.
