The Tower – Views of a visiting starling – A murmuration by Elly Morgan

This murmuration of starlings, created by Elly, is inspired by a piece of writing by her father, Peter Brown. His thought-provoking work provided Elly with an insight into the world of starlings, through the eyes of this remarkable bird. This prompted Elly to think about her own sense of wonder when watching starlings in their flowing murmurations across the Pembrokeshire sky.

Time is never ever wasted when Elly is mesmerised by their ballet of flight and swirling bird clouds. Elly is pleased to share her father’s observations alongside her smoke-fired clay starlings and hopes she enhances your awareness and appreciation of starlings. Elly is also joined by fellow artists Ed Tanguay (drawings & paintings) and Aled Llewelyn (sound recording) to complement the exhibition theme.
