The National Park Authority administers Sustainable Development Fund grants in Pembrokeshire. To read summary details of the projects supported by the fund, choose a project title from the list below.

Alternative Fuelled Mini Bus

Alternative Fuelled Mini Bus The project, run by Preseli Rural Transport Association will provide additional community transport services for people who find it difficult to travel because of their health, disability or the location in which they live. SDF funding will be used to purchase a second hand mini bus that will provide additional carrying capacity. The bus will be converted to run on Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO). The mechanical conversion work and the purchase of environmentally friendly fuel will be local and the larger bus running on SVO will bring down the operating costs of running a community minibus, whilst also causing less environmental pollution. The bus will operate on a dial a ride and group usage basis in the Preseli area and will provide a sustainable extension to the existing ‘Green Dragon’ Walkers bus service.

Project Total Cost: £25,314.00

Grant Awarded: £11,064.50
