Open air theatre: Blackadder 11

Starting at 19:00 13 August and finishing at 21:00 13 August

We are delighted to announce Red Herring Theatre’s cunning plan to perform three hilarious episodes of Blackadder II at Carew Castle.
Lovingly bringing Edmund Blackadder to life; he is once again assisted by the clueless but fashionable Lord Percy and of course his "cunning" peasant Baldrick.

BELL’S
Lord Blackadder is deeply disturbed when he finds himself falling in love with his new manservant, Bob. A surprise relaxes his fears and they agree to marry, but could visiting Lord Flashheart come between the happy couple?

HEAD
Things get a bit hot for Edmund when he is appointed Head Executioner and accidentally executes Sir Francis Drake. This causes Edmund a slight problem when Drake's wife is given permission by the Queen to see him and chaos ensues

BEER
Blackadder challenges Melchett to a drinking contest - on the same night he is due to play host to his puritanical relatives, Lord and Lady Whiteadder, in order to discuss his inheritance!
Blackadder’s attempts to keep the two parties apart whilst becoming more intoxicated leads to hilarity.

Bring a rug or low backed chair, picnics welcome, hot drinks available.
