Join our Community Archaeologist as she reveals clues that shed light on the way of life of the ancient inhabitants of North Pembrokeshire.
Discover the prehistoric sites and monuments of the mystical Preseli Hills. At the bluestone outcrop of Carn Meini hear different theories of how bluestones from the Preselis ended up in Stonehenge and listen to the myths and legends of the hills as we walk to the peak of Foel Drygarn to see the cairns of Bronze Age kings (so the story goes) and the remains of a mighty Iron Age hillfort. Dogs are welcome on a lead. There are no toilets available on the route. A moderately strenuous walk. Meet in Castell Henllys car park for a short minibus journey to the start of the walk, and returning at the end. £4 per person.
Please bring refreshments, suitable clothing for the weather and sturdy footwear.
