National Parks – Why Planning?
Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is the Local Planning Authority for the National Park. Under the Town and Country Planning Act 2004 the Authority has a statutory responsibility to prepare a Local Development Plan (LDP). Our Plan was adopted in 2010 and it seeks to apply National Park Purposes and (see below) and duties in regard to land use planning and development.
